Updated: Sep 7, 2023

CDorner Fitness Introduces Empowering Aerobics

Hey there, fitness enthusiasts! Chris here!

You know, I'm always on the hunt for workouts that are more than just a sweaty session. I'm talking about those routines that get your heart pumping, your body moving, and most importantly–your spirit soaring!

And folks, I've found it! The answer to our prayers? Step aerobics!

It's like the life of the party in the fitness world. It's this lively, energetic, and got all those right moves.

And the best part? You can do it at home!

No fancy gym is required, just a sturdy step, your favorite workout gear, and an open mind ready for some serious fun!

Its Mood-Boosting Effect

Endorphin Rush

If you're sitting there scratching your head thinking, "Endor-what?", don't sweat it.

Picture them as nature's own little happy pills. Except–there's no actual pill and definitely no dodgy side effects!

Just like any other killer aerobics exercise, it is like hitting the jackpot on the endorphin slot machine. You know that feeling when you're walking in sunshine, and nothing can bring you down?

Yeah, that's all thanks to these feel-good hormones at work!

Mind and Body Workout

Step aerobics isn't just a body workout; it's a mind workout too! It's like getting that two-for-one deal on your fitness routine. You're not just working your body here; you're working your mind along with it!

You know when you're in our class, and you're trying to keep up with the moves, and you're thinking, "Wait, was it step up, step down, or step sideways?" That's your brain getting a workout right there!

It's continuously involved throughout the entire session, leading to that improved coordination, balance, and cognitive function. It’s indeed like a dance-off between you and your step, and let me tell you, it keeps things spicy!

It keeps you on your toes – literally and figuratively. You've got to be in the moment as you learn and memorize steps. It's like learning a new language, but instead of words, you're learning moves. And your brain? It loves this stuff. It keeps it sharp, nimble, and young!

Power Up Your Brain and Body

Calorie Burner

Who's up for torching those stubborn calories that just won't take a hint? If you're nodding along, then be ready for a full-blown calorie-burning bonanza!

Imagine this: with every move you take, it's like you're tossing another calorie into the roaring flames. And the best part? This high-energy workout doesn't just burn them–it annihilates them!

So if you're looking to get your sweat on and burn some serious energy–step right up!

Ready, Set, Step!

I completely agree! As I get older (46 this month), I am always on the hunt for things that will challenge me cognitively and physically. Running (my lifelong cardo go-to) isn't all that stimulating mentally. Step is! Sometimes my body is willing to keep moving but my brain is like, "Hold on sister. We're maxed out for today." Love, love, love! Thanks for this article, Chris! You are AMAZING!

I found you during COVID because I was looking for some fun exercise to do at home. I still had my step that I bought back in the late 1990s when I was working out to some DVD step routines. I remember they did include some weight training, and I am pretty sure they were Kathy Smith. But they were the same DVDs over and over. How boring is that? I tried a few other people on YouTube, but I kept coming back to you. And now I'm not only stepping with you, I am also getting stronger every day with all of the weight training. I recently bought 20-pound dumbbells because I am badass now. LOL. Thank you for…

im looking forward to getting into the step routine. I just love your old fashioned style low impact aerobics I'm ready to "step it up" so I've ordered a stepper as soon as I get it "I'm in". thank you for making working out fun again.
